Margerita

Margerita Farmhouse is located in the centre of a very traditional village, Xaghra. The accommodation is ideal for up to 4 persons. The property has two floors. On the ground floor there is the kitchen/dining room, living room, bathroom and a small private swimming pool. On the first floor, there is the main bedroom and a twin bedded room both with ensuite facilities. There is also a terrace overlooking the Cittadella.

In Xaghra there are various tourist attractions but the most prominent is The Ggantija Temples museum which date back 6000 years. There is also a permanent exhibition in Ta' Kola Windmill. There are 2 natural caves with formation of stalactites and stalagmites. Just bordering Xaghra there is Calypso Cave which is mentioned in the Greek Mythology where Odysseus was kept captive for seven years by the nymph Calypso. From there the outstanding beach of Ramly Bay with its reddish coloured sand may best be admired. Gozo is a small island so it is never too far to tour around the island and admire its history, fortifications, beautiful beaches and untouched countryside.

At Margerita we leave many useful items, so when we visit this holiday home we always feel comfortable and the guests may make use of anything available so they may also feel at home. There is a microwave, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, TV, barbeque and much more. There is a cot and high chair for the toddler who comes along with the parents.
